The Judgment of Paris was a wine competition held in Paris in 1976. It was organized by Steven Spurrier, a British wine merchant. He invited French wine experts to taste and rate Chardonnays and Cabernet Sauvignons from France and California in a blind test. The result was a surprise (to the French!) The California wines (Chateau Montelena Chardonnay and Stags’ Leap Cabernet Sauvignon) scored higher than the French ones, challenging the assumption that only France could produce great wines.

We will blind taste 3 different varieties…one from California and one from France: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Who will you choose?
